UNESCO declared judo as the best initial formative sport for children and youngsters from 4 to 21 years old, since it allows an integral physical education, enhancing, through the knowledge of this sport, all their psychomotor possibilities (spatial location, perspective, ambidextrism, laterality, throwing, pulling, pushing, crawling, jumping, rolling, falling, joint and independent coordination of both hands and feet, etc.) and their relationship with other people, making use of the game and the fight as an integrating-dynamized element.
Judo is one of children's favorite martial arts. They develop their physical and mental abilities and improve their fitness while learning important values such as companionship, respect, self-control and the desire to excel.
