High Abilities Program
The activities, projects and outings we organize with the High Abilities group are intended to contribute to the development of their cognitive abilities and personality.
They do not replace the official curriculum, but rather complement and enrich it, providing opportunities to delve deeper into different areas of knowledge chosen by them, and
"A unique High Abilities program".
through experimentation, research and creation.
With them, we want to achieve, together with our students, to awaken and maintain their curiosity to learn, commitment and motivation, through an active participation in the design and development of the projects.
Always in a teamwork context.
PROJECTS
Some of the most representative projects carried out by the students of the High Abilities program.
NON-POLLUTING ENERGIES
They researched the different types of energy, their advantages and disadvantages.
MYTHOLOGY AND HISTORY
Where they discovered many commonalities in the mythologies of different cultures.
ORCHARD
They participated in the creation and maintenance of the vegetable garden, one of the Ecoescuela's projects.
TECHNOLOGY
They delved into current technology, created presentations with their Ipad and shared them with their classmates in the school's Main Hall.
ASTROBIOLOGY
And as a final climax, we made a very interesting visit to the CAB (Center for Astrobiology) where they try to give scientific answers to questions about the origin, evolution and future of life. They told us about their projects and showed us their facilities and laboratories.
